Hi, my name is Heidi Whittaker. I am a Parent Consultant with the Utah Parent Center. The
Utah Parent Center has partnered with Nebo School District to provide free assistance to
families of children with special educational needs. I, too, have had a child receive special
education services in Nebo School District. As a Parent Consultant, I can provide FREE

∙ Assistance with IEP/504 Plans
∙ Assistance with students with special needs.
Services are offered to parents and professionals, beginning with the provision of one-on-one
consultations. I can:
∙ Provide a free confidential phone consultation.
∙ Provide answers to questions or concerns about struggling students.
∙ Provide information on the IEP process and your rights and responsibilities under IDEA.
∙ Provide free parent support to help you prepare for and attend IEP/504 meetings.
∙ Connect parents to resources and supports in the community.
∙ Provide information about upcoming free events in Nebo and statewide.
